Onboarding@HHU
Helpful app for all newly appointed faculty members

It is important for all new academic staff at HHU to be able to familiarise themselves and feel comfortable in their role quickly. To support the onboarding measures for academic staff at HHU, a bilingual app that provides key information at a glance has now been launched for professors, doctoral researchers, postdocs and other academic staff.

Orientation at HHU – a new app provides newly appointed faculty members, doctoral researchers and postdocs with valuable information when they start work on campus.

The onboarding@HHU app is a practical companion: Sorted by category, useful contacts and compact information are provided on a largely bilingual basis. The app also contains news about our University, guides and specific information for international researchers, as well as events and an interactive campus map. A timetable for the local public transport system and access to the social media channels are also integrated into the app.

It is available for Android and iOS. JUNO (Junior Scientist and International Researcher Center) and the Office of the Vice President for University Culture and International Relations at HHU are responsible for the content, while an external service provider is responsible for the technical realisation.
