New website offers support
Assistance for people from Iran

Solidarity with our students and researchers from Iran: Many are concerned about the well-being of their relatives and experiencing great anxiety in view of the severe communication restrictions. On behalf of all members of Heinrich Heine University, the Rectorate has arranged for the creation of a new bilingual website providing information and support services.

A new website provides points of contact and offers of support for people from Iran. It was initiated by Vice President Professor Dr Heidrun Dorgeloh.

The website provides a clear overview of the student advisory services, the International Office and further contacts. The first point of contact for researchers is the Junior Scientist and Researcher Center (JUNO).

“Anyone seeking psychological support can find direct links on the page: Students can contact the HHU psychological counselling service, while researchers can turn to the Psychotherapeutic Institute Outpatient Clinic (PIA),” says Professor Dr Heidrun Dorgeloh, Vice President for University Culture and International Relations. StudyWell, the digital support navigator, is also linked.
